✨ Guided Ritual — The Ashes of Release (Do-at-Home)
Purpose: A safe ceremonial practice to release attachment, let go of a relationship energetically, and create a protective boundary as you move forward.
You’ll need: a small bowl, a candle, paper & pen, a lighter or match, a small amount of salt, and a quiet space.
-
Set Intention (2 minutes): Sit quietly. Breathe in for 4, out for 6. Say aloud: “I release what no longer serves me. I reclaim my power and walk forward in peace.”
-
Write it Down (5 minutes): On paper, write what you want to release—feelings, patterns, attachments. Keep it short and honest.
-
Candle & Salt (2 minutes): Light the candle. Sprinkle a pinch of salt around your bowl as a boundary symbol.
-
Burn & Visualize (3–5 minutes): Carefully burn the paper in the bowl, watching the ashes form. Visualize the ties between you and the other person dissolving like smoke. As the paper burns, say: “As this burns, I am free. Old ties fall away. I am whole.”
-
Seal with Protection (2 minutes): When the paper has turned to ash, whisper: “I am protected. I am safe. I move forward.” Blow out the candle. Keep the ashes in a small jar for seven days, then bury them or scatter them outside as a symbol of release.
-
Aftercare: Journal your feelings, drink water, and rest. Repeat nightly if needed for up to seven nights.
